Tadoba National Park
 

In Tadoba National Park, we offer the Jungle Detective camp. The emphasis here is on walking trails and learning about the fauna and flora. Additionally, you will learn about the basics of a jungle trail- identifying pugmarks, distinguishing tell-tale signs like scats, scratches on tree trunks, recognizing alarm calls, prominent bird calls, etc. Come on, Jungle Detective, let’s go.

Camp Programme (Summer'10) - PUNE DEPARTURE

Day 1

All campers to report at the Main Porch of Pune Railway Station at 1600 hrs. Depart from Pune by Garib Rath (Train No.2113) at 1740 hrs.
Day 2 Arrive Wardha at 0805 hrs and proceed to Tadoba N.P. by private bus. Check into Jungle Resort. Lunch followed by jungle trail.
Day 3 Morning and evening Jungle Safaris. Post trail discussions, games, skywatch.
Day 4 On the jungle trail . . . discover the tale tell signs, follow the pugmarks, mimic the birds.
Your instructors will teach you to read the jungle book. Hopefully you will see lots of wild animals. Jungle safari in the evening. Camp fire at night.
Day 5 Birding trail in the morning. Depart for Wardha after lunch.
Board Pune Garibrath (Train No. 2114) at 1942 hrs.
Day 6 Arrive a Arrive Pune Railway Station at 0945 hrs.

All campers to report at Mumbai CST at 1730 hrs.
Depart by Vidarbha Express (Train No.2105) at 1910 hrs.
Day 2 Arrive Wardha at 0725 hrs and proceed to Tadoba N.P. by private bus.
Check into Jungle Resort. Lunch followed by jungle trail.
Day 3 Morning and evening Jungle Safaris. Post trail discussions, games, skywatch.
Day 4 On the jungle trail . . . discover the tale tell signs, follow the pugmarks, mimic the birds.
