Sikkim

Sikkim is a privileged camp for all those who can make it in the first week of April. This is the time when this jewel of Himalayas is at its best. Skies are clear blue, blooming rhododendrons signal the end of winter, no crowds – the place is for you alone. Come with your friends for that last get together before you go your own ways. Indulge in little bit of trekking, taste the excitement of rafting, enjoy snow fight at 15000 feet – in short have a ball.

Sikkim is pristine, enjoy it before the tide of development sweeps over it. Reach the last village of the civilization. Stand in the awe of the mighty Kanchendzonga mountain. Chat with the monks of the Rumtek monastery. Meditate on the serene Khechoplari Lake. Enjoy momos and the chang. Have a delightful holiday.

Day 1	All campers to report at the Main Porch of Pune Railway Station at 1700 hrs. Departure by Azad Hind Express (Train No.2129) at 1825 Hrs.
Day 2	Enroute.
Day 3	Arrive at Howrah at 0350 hrs, check into hotel to freshen up. Visit the Science City. Enjoy ropeway ride, Space Theatre, Evolution Park, Time Machine etc. Board Darjeeling mail (Train No.2343) at Sealdah at 2205 hrs.
Day 4	Arrive NJP at 0800 hrs. Proceed to Gangtok and check into hotel. After lunch visit Rumtek Monastery, Do–Drul Chorten (Stupa), Nam-Nang View Point and Flower Show. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 5	Excursion to Tsangu Lake at 12000 ft and enjoy snow fights. Shopping in the evening.
Day 6	Drive to Peling via Temi Tea Garden and Samdruptse (Worlds tallest statue of Lord Buddha). Overnight at Peling.
Day 7	After breakfast drive to Khecheopalri Wishing lake. Meditate in the serene atmosphere and make a wish. Enjoy an exhilarating trek through the evergreen forest to arrive at Yuksom, the last outpost of civilization. Take in Rimbi waterfalls and rock garden on the way to Peling.
Day 8	Peling sight seeing - Pemayantse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins - in the morning. Drive to Darjeeling and overnight.
Day 9	Early morning visit Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop and Monastery. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Zoological Garden. Enjoy rock climbing at Tenzing Rock. After lunch visit Rock Garden and Ganga Maya Park. Evening free for shopping.
Day 10	In the morning enjoy rafting at Teesta river Drive to NJP to board Uttar Banga Express (Train No.3148) at 2010 Hrs.
Day 11	Arrive at Sealdah at 0815 Hrs. Shopping, sight seeing and Metro travel at Kolkata. Board Azad Hind Express (Train No.2130) at Howrah station at 2155 hrs
Day 12	Enroute.
Day 13	Arrive at Pune at 0650 hrs. Please check the exact time of arrival with the Railway Authorities.
