Lakshadweep

One of world's most spectacular tropical island systems, Lakshadweep is tucked away off the Kerala coast. The islands look like emeralds against the vast expanse of the blue sea. Each island is fringed by snow white coral sands and placid lagoons. The lagoons offer an excellent opportunity for water sports like swimming, wind-surfing, diving, snorkeling and kayaking. The crystal clear water and the abundant marine life will make this a truly memorable camp.

Day 1	Report at Tilak Terminus (Kurla) – 1030 hrs. Report at Panvel – 1150 hrs. Pune campers to report at Congress Bhavan at 0830 hrs sharp for transfer to Panvel. Netravati Express (16345) departure Mumbai – 1140 and Panvel – 1250 hrs.
Day 2	Arrive Ernakulam Junction at 1405 hrs and check into hotel. Boat ride in the evening.
Day 3	Set sail for Lakshadweep. On the high sea, watch out for dolphins and flying fish, whales may be.
Day 4	Arrive Minicoy in the morning. Stay on the island. Swimming, beach combing and games.
Day 5	Explore Minicoy island. Learn snorkeling to watch corals, giant clams, sponges, colorful fish - - Sleep on the beach, under a starry sky.
Day 6	Take a Glass bottom boat ride for a glimpse of the underwater world. Later be a part of the underwater world, take to scuba diving. (Optional). Watch the discovery channel come alive in all its splendor.
Day 7	Games and competitions. Depart by ship for Cochin after lunch.
Day 8	Arrive at Cochin and check into hotel. Evening free for shopping. Farewell party at night.
Day 9	Board LTT Garib Rath (12202) at Ernakulam Town at 1245 hrs. Travel AC3 class.
Day 10	Arrive Panvel at 1015 and Mumbai LTT at 1145 hrs. Arrive Pune by bus at 1430 hrs.
