This sylvan camp is situated at Bacchodi in the kogaar ghat. Rain Forest Camp is a 2 hours drive from Kundapur Railway station and an overnight journey from Bangalore.

The Rain forest camp is so named because it is situated in the Evergreen Forest region of India. An evergreen forest is one wherein the trees retain their green foliage throughout the year and the average annual rainfall is more than 200mm.

This camp is situated bang in the middle of an evergreen forest which spans the western coast of India. Comfortable tents with attached bathrooms and a large dining hall for delicious local food make it a unique back to nature destination. Birds, Mammal and amphibian trails in the adjoining forests are the key activities here. Giant squirrels, pied hornbills, several rare amphibians and rain forest flora and fauna are guaranteed sightings. The lucky ones can even see a leopard or a slender loris lounging close to the campsite.
