Camp Programme (Summer'10)

Day 1

Report at Delhi to board Volvo coach for Manali at 1700hrs.
Delhi-Kulu 575 Km, Overnight journey. Dinner enroute. (D)
Day 2 Arrive at base camp at Nishala at 1200 hrs. Tent allotment. Evening at leisure. (B L D)
Day 3 Acclimatisation trek of 3 to 4 hours duration. Games and activities. (B L D)
Day 4 Base camp to Bangla (camp 1) – 2350 M, 4 to 5 hrs. Trek through dense forest. (B L D)
Day 5 Camp 1 to Chachil Phadil ( camp 2) – 3000 M, 4 to 5 hours. Gradual traverse to the meadows of Naya Tapru. Fascinating view of Deo Tibba Mountains. (B L D)
Day 6 Trek to Chanderkhani Pass – 3660 M, 3hours one way. Enjoy snow patches and
the finest views of Deo Tibba and Pin Parvati range. (B L D)
Day 7 Camp 2 to Pulag Village (camp 3) – 2400 M, 3 hours.
An interesting descent to Pulag village, evening at leisure. (B L D)
Day 8 Camp 3 to Base camp – 4 hours.
The route leads to base camp at Nishala via a no. of tiny villages. (B L D)
Day 9 Morning at leisure to visit Manali. Depart for Delhi at 1600 hrs. (B D)
Day 10 Arrive Delhi at 0700 hrs. End of the package.

  • Travel to report at Delhi and return journey.
  • Personal expenses such as telephones, cold drinks, mineral water, laundry, porter charges, Camera fees etc.
  • Insurance of any kind.
  • Medical, hospitalization and related expenses.
  • Emergency evacuation.
  • Any item not covered under the head 'cost includes'.

Additional notes
Pugmarks camp leader will accompany the group Delhi onwards.
A rucksack will be provided for the trek. Individual luggage can be stored at the base camp.
For full payment discount, pay by cheque/credit card 30 days prior to camp departure.
Balance amount is payable 30 days prior to camp departure.
