The erstwhile hunting reserve of the royal family of Rewa, Bandhavgarh still retains its mystic royal charm. The fort is perched on top of a Vidhyan spur, overlooking the grassy meadows and forested valleys of the National Park. Once home to the famed white tiger, today it is populated by its cousin, the royal Bengal tiger. The park boasts of having the highest tiger density in the country. It also means that the jungle is rich and teeming with wildlife. Watch his Majesty recline in a pool or the alarmed sambar emitting a warning call… experience the romance of Bandhavgadh.

Camp Programme (Summer'12)

Day 1

Pune reporting at the Main Porch of Pune Railway Station at 0645 hrs. Depart by Pragati Exp (12126) at 0750 hrs to CSTM. Mumbai reporting at CSTM at 1200 hrs. Proceed to Jabalpur by Garib Rath (12188) at 1330 hrs.
Day 2 Arrive Jabalpur at 0600 hrs and proceed to Bandhavgadh AC bus. Check into a Wildlife Resort. Ice breakers and briefing. Go on discovery trail in the evening.
Day 3 Morning and evening jungle ride. Watch out for wild boar, bear, leopard, wild dog, tiger - - - . Wildlife film in the evening.
Day 4 Enjoy morning and evening jungle safaris. Games and campfire.
Day 5 Transfer to Jabalpur and check into a hotel. Enjoy an evening at the spectacular Bhedaghat waterfalls, take a boat ride to admire the marble rocks. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Proceed to Nagpur after breakfast. Board Garib Rath (12114) at 1835 hrs.
Day 7 Arrive Pune at 0945 hrs. Mumbai campers to proceed home by bus.
